Under the name of ZAPOBO, Dirk Denzer has been a successful
variety show artist for 15 years. He made his first appearances
as brilliant clown for children. Self-taught, he has learnt
various variety show disciplines – comedy, juggling,
pantomime, fire art and, first and foremost, the art of presentation.
In the course of his career, ZAPOBO has developed into the
all-rounder he is today: action artist, juggler, entertainer
and musician.
Increasingly, Dirk is called on for his skills as a presenter,
either for talk shows or evening events. What many people
don’t know is that he earned his stripes working with
Günther Jauch, Kai Pflaume and Fritz Egner: “Professionals,
from whom I learnt a great deal,” says Dirk.
